Raquel Garbelotti

Raquel de Oliveira Pedro Garbelotti, born in Dracena, São Paulo, in 1973, is a multimedia artist and professor dedicated to exploring various forms of artistic expression. She graduated in fine arts from Faculdade Santa Marcelina (FASM) in 1994, where she had the opportunity to study under the renowned artist Ana Maria Tavares. In 2001, she completed her master's degree in arts at Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp).

Raquel has developed a distinguished career that encompasses painting, sculpture, installation, and video art. Her work is characterized by an experimental approach, where she explores themes such as identity, memory, and the relationship between space and the body. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, being recognized for her ability to integrate different media and techniques in her works.

In addition to her artistic production, Raquel is a dedicated professor, sharing her knowledge and passion for the arts with her students. Her influence as an educator has been significant, inspiring new generations of artists to explore and expand the boundaries of their own creative practices.
