Ramon Santos
Ramon Santos, born in the west side of São Paulo, grew up in the city's outskirts. His parents, hailing from Brazil's Northeast, brought with them a rich cultural heritage – his mother from Piauí and his father from Bahia. From a young age, Ramon displayed a natural talent for drawing, which led him to discover woodcutting at the age of 8 at the Instituto Acaia.
Through printmaking, Ramon expresses a poetic vision of his surroundings, capturing both the joy and sorrow of everyday life. His works reflect the urban landscapes and emotions he observes and experiences, translating common scenes into images that provoke reflection and depth.
