Ramon Martins

Ramon Martins is an artist known for his eclectic style and varied techniques, combining urban culture with academic reflections. His work is characterized by a blend of themes that include elements of wild and tropical nature, organic traces, Minas Gerais baroque, Asian traditions, pop culture and its opposites, as well as anonymous portraits that evoke a strong geographical poetry.

In 2014, he participated in the 3rd R.U.A. Festival in Amsterdam, presenting the panel "A Pregnant Man's Dream". In 2009, his participation in the first edition of the R.U.A. Festival in Rotterdam with the work "Love Spreads" brought him notable visibility. That same year, he participated in the exhibition "De Dentro Para Fora De Fora Para Dentro" at MASP, which attracted more than 140,000 visitors in 10 weeks.

Ramon Martins' work is part of major Brazilian collections, including MAM-RJ and MASP. He has held exhibitions in South America, North America, and Europe, and his murals can be seen on these three continents.

Currently, Ramon Martins resides in Campina do Monte Alegre, São Paulo, and is represented by Galeria Movimento in Rio de Janeiro and Galeria Oscar Cruz in São Paulo.
