Nina Pandolfo

Nina Pandolfo was born in São Paulo in 1977 and began graffitiing the city's streets in 1992, becoming one of the pioneers of street art in Brazil. She is part of the group that brought graffiti into art galleries and museums, breaking down the barriers between street art and traditional exhibition spaces.

Her work encompasses mural and canvas paintings, installations, and objects made from a variety of materials, including latex, resin, plastic, and fabric. The main themes of her work are childhood and nature. Nina Pandolfo draws on the relationship between the innocent gaze of children and the adult perspective, portraying mischievous girls with large eyes that express deep and secret feelings.

The artist also highlights the beauty of animals, with a special emphasis on insects in her murals and paintings. Her intention is to show that we can see life in a simpler way, filled with hope, love, and sincerity, and that the same images can have different meanings depending on the viewer's perspective.
