Nilda Neves

Nilda Neves was born in 1961 in Botuporã, Bahia, the eldest of five children of Osvaldo and Ana Rita. She grew up in a rural setting, developing a deep connection with nature and the simple life of the countryside. After getting married, she moved to Brumado, Bahia, where she graduated in accounting in 1982.

In 1999, Nilda Neves moved to São Paulo in search of new opportunities and challenges. This move marked a turning point in her life, allowing her to expand her professional and personal horizons. Although she has a background in accounting, Nilda always had a passion for art and creativity, which she began to explore more intensely after moving.

In São Paulo, Nilda started participating in art workshops and courses, where she found her true calling in the visual arts. Her work is deeply connected to her roots, often reflecting elements of rural life and the rich culture of the Bahian countryside.

Nilda Neves has held several exhibitions in São Paulo, gaining recognition for her ability to capture the essence of everyday life and transform it into expressive and captivating art pieces. Her art celebrates the small things in life, inspired by the simplicity and beauty of her origins.
