Marlon Amaro

Marlon Amaro draws inspiration from landscapes to explore which elements most captivate the viewer — whether through color, form, or rhythm. His creative process abstracts the literal meaning of the scenes, translating them into marks and gestures on the surface until the composition reveals its own sense.

A painter and mixed-media artist, Amaro has participated in international projects in Germany, the United States, and England, supported by institutions such as Christie's, 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, M+B Gallery, and König Galerie. In Brazil, his work has been exhibited in renowned institutions, museums, and galleries, including Almeida & Dale, HOA, Museu de Arte do Rio, ArtRio, and SP-Arte.
