Mario Cravo Neto

Mario Cravo Neto (Salvador, 1947 - Salvador, 2009) was a renowned Brazilian photographer and visual artist, son of the sculptor Mário Cravo Filho. Affectionately known as "Mariozinho" by his close friends, he received his first lessons in drawing and sculpture from his father, but soon sought other references, studying photography with Hans Man in Rio de Janeiro, Fulvio Roiter in Venice, and Lisl Steiner in New York, as well as visual arts with Jack Krueger, also in New York.
