Mari Sperandio

Mari Sperandio (Santo André, SP, 1989) lives and works in São Paulo. A visual artist, she develops a poetics centered on care and memory, using makeup and sewing on supports such as fabric, paper, and canvas.
Her production addresses issues related to the feminine and the social structures of care, creating tension between affections and personal experiences within a collective political critique.
She held her first solo exhibition in 2025 at Boldo Estúdio, São Paulo, and has participated in group shows in spaces such as Lateral Galeria, Massapê Projetos, MAC Sorocaba, Solar dos Abacaxis, and Casa do Povo.
With a studio at Vera 184, she continues to develop authorial projects and research in diverse languages — painting, sculpture, performance, video — expanding her investigations in free courses and artistic mentorship groups.
