Biography
Lygia Eluf is a full professor in the drawing area at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), where she has been working since the late 1980s. She has a rich and diverse academic and artistic trajectory, focusing on areas such as two-dimensional representation, contemporary artistic production, and research methodology in art.

Academic Background
Eluf graduated in Fine Arts in 1982 from the University of São Paulo (USP), where she also obtained her master's and doctorate in Arts, with an emphasis on Visual Poetics, in 1992 and 1998, respectively.

Academic Career
At Unicamp, Eluf made significant contributions as the coordinator of the Undergraduate Visual Arts program (2000-2004) and the coordinator of the Institute of Arts Gallery (2011-2013). She was instrumental in creating the Center for Printmaking Research (1997) and the Print Cabinet (2017) at the Institute of Arts, both funded by FAPESP.

Eluf also worked in the graduate program in Arts, in the area of Visual Poetics. In recognition of her work, she received the Zeferino Vaz Academic Recognition Award in 2013.

Awards and Grants
She received three Unicamp-Santander Chairs (2007, 2011, 2014) in collaboration with the Complutense University of Madrid and the Prado Museum. Between 2011 and 2017, she was a CNPq research productivity fellow with the project "Drawing Notebooks: Drawing as a Structural Means of Image Construction". In 2009, she was awarded the Jabuti Prize for the "Drawing Notebooks" collection.

Artistic Production
Since 1980, Lygia Eluf has developed a personal artistic project in drawing, printmaking, and painting. Her works have been exhibited in several exhibitions in Brazil and abroad. She also works in organizing artistic events and curating, significantly contributing to the contemporary art scene.
