Jenner Augusto
Jenner Augusto da Silveira (Aracaju SE 1924 - Salvador BA 2003) was a Brazilian painter, poster artist, illustrator, draftsman, and printmaker. From a young age, he lived in various cities of Sergipe, creating cinema posters and studying painting. In 1949, after moving to Salvador, he worked in Mario Cravo Júnior's studio and participated in the "New Baiano Artists" exhibition. His work is marked by modernist influences and social themes, reflecting Brazilian reality. Throughout his career, Jenner explored various techniques and supports, gaining recognition for his solo and group exhibitions, both in Brazil and abroad.
