Jeanete Musatti

Jeanete Musatti, born in 1944 in São Paulo, Brazil, where she lives and works, is an artist with an archivist inclination. Her works gather memories using small objects and images, creating collages, sculptures, and installations. Musatti has exhibited both individually and collectively at prestigious institutions, including the Centro Municipal de Arte Hélio Oiticica (Rio de Janeiro), Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia (Salvador), Art Museum of the Americas (Washington), Centro de Arte Contemporâneo Wilfredo Lam (Havana), Palácio das Artes (Belo Horizonte), Museu de Arte Moderna (Rio de Janeiro), Paço das Artes (São Paulo), and Museu de Arte de São Paulo. Her works are part of both public and private collections, such as the Museu de Arte do Rio de Janeiro (MAR), Museu de Arte Contemporânea da USP, Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Niterói, João Carlos Figueiredo Ferraz Collection, and Deutch Bank Collection.
