Gabriel Gombossy

Gabriel Gombossy is a Brazilian visual artist whose work oscillates between original creations and scenographic projects for advertising, fashion, and theater. Graduated in Fine Arts from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), specializing in sculptures, Gombossy began his artistic career in a puppet theater group, two years before completing his degree. His source of inspiration comes from materials found in junkyards, deposits, and dumpsters, selecting wood, metals, stones, bones, and other reusable materials for his works. In his studio in São Paulo, these time-worn objects are transformed, revealing the rich tapestry of possibilities they offer, creating pieces that resonate with originality and creative depth.
