Flora Assumpção

Ela é atualmente professora de artes visuais na graduação da Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF) e no programa de mestrado em artes visuais da UFPE-UFPB. Desde 2002, ela se dedica ao estudo e à prática de uma ampla gama de técnicas e linguagens artísticas, incluindo desenho, pintura, gravura, fotografia, e criação de objetos. Além disso, ela desenvolve instalações e intervenções tanto em espaços arquitetônicos quanto urbanos, explorando as relações entre arte, espaço e público. Sua pesquisa acadêmica e prática artística frequentemente cruzam fronteiras disciplinares, buscando novas formas de expressão visual e impacto social através da arte.

She is currently a professor of visual arts at the undergraduate level at the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley (UNIVASF) and in the master's program in visual arts at UFPE-UFPB. Since 2002, she has been dedicated to studying and practicing a wide range of artistic techniques and languages, including drawing, painting, engraving, photography, and object creation. Additionally, she develops installations and interventions in both architectural and urban spaces, exploring the relationships between art, space, and the public. Her academic research and artistic practice often cross disciplinary boundaries, seeking new forms of visual expression and social impact through art.
