Fabio Cardoso

Fabio Cardoso, born in São Paulo in 1958, is a painter who has been dedicated to oil painting since 1981, when he joined the Cooperativa de Artistas Plásticos de São Paulo. This cooperative included artists like Baravelli, Regina Silveira, Julio Plaza, Carlos Fajardo, among others. Since the 1980s, Cardoso has regularly exhibited in galleries in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, such as Paulo Figueiredo, Subdistrito, André Milan, Nara Roesler, and Lurixs. Moreover, his works have been featured in significant institutions and international events, including MAM Rio, Funarte Rio, Palazzo Prettorio in Venice, Galerie Debret in Paris, the Monterrey Biennial in Mexico, and the São Paulo International Biennial, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the Brazilian art scene.
