Denise Arararipe

Denise Arararipe is a Brazilian artist based in Rio de Janeiro. With a diverse educational background from Rio de Janeiro, Geneva, London, and São Paulo, Denise structures her career around well-defined thematic cycles. A notable example is her doll series, through which she explores issues related to femininity, intertwining her visual work with deep cultural reflection. Since 1992, Denise has been holding solo exhibitions and participating in numerous group shows both in Brazil and internationally. Her works are part of important collections, including those of Gilberto Chateaubriand and BGA Artes, as well as being featured in the Cultural Centers of Correios and Cândido Mendes.
