Celso Orsini

Celso Orsini (Itabira, Minas Gerais, 1958) is a Brazilian painter who graduated from the Fundação Álvares Penteado in São Paulo. In his works, Orsini often refers to his home state of Minas Gerais, focusing on constructive forms and refined geometries. His artistic trajectory was highlighted with exhibitions at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art in 1994, in the "Ainda a Figura" show, and in 1999, in the "Figuras Quase Figuras" show. In 2001, Orsini expanded his international reach with an exhibition at the Valu Ória Art Gallery and his first international show in Madrid, solidifying his position in both the national and international art scenes.
