Rodrigo de Haro (Paris, May 6, 1939 – Florianópolis, July 1, 2021) was a Brazilian poet, intellectual, thinker, mosaicist, and multifaceted artist. The son of renowned classical painter Martinho de Haro, Rodrigo was born in Paris and moved to Brazil in 1939.

As a member of the Academia Catarinense de Letras, Rodrigo left an indelible mark on the cultural scene of Santa Catarina. Among his numerous artworks, the striking mural that adorns the walls and entrance of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) rectorate stands out. His art can also be seen in the Church of Santa Catarina de Alexandria, dedicated to the patron saint of Florianópolis, and in the mural at the municipal school Doutor Paulo Fontes in the community of Santo Antônio de Lisboa, in Florianópolis.

In poetry, his work is often associated with surrealism and the group of poets that emerged in São Paulo in the early 1960s, including figures such as Roberto Piva, Claudio Willer, Carlos Felipe Moisés, and Antonio Fernando de Franceschi.

Rodrigo de Haro passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 82, due to heart and kidney problems.
