Sandra Regina Cinto (Santo André, São Paulo, 1968) is a Brazilian visual artist whose work encompasses drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and installation. She graduated in art education from the Teresa d'Ávila Integrated Colleges (Fatea) in 1990 and has made drawing the central thread of her artistic practice, exploring various artistic modalities. Her works often invite viewers to reflect on their surroundings and how they occupy space.

In 1992, Cinto held her first solo exhibitions at the Centro Cultural São Paulo (CCSP) and the Galeria Espaço Alternativo in Rio de Janeiro. Since then, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Brazil and abroad. Her work is distinguished by meticulous drawing, which often expands into large installations that transform architectural spaces into dreamlike and immersive landscapes.

Cinto explores the relationship between drawing and space, creating works that involve the public in immersive experiences. In works like "Encontro das Águas" (2013), she uses ballpoint pens to draw vast and detailed landscapes directly on the walls of museums and galleries, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in scenes of turbulent seas and nocturnal skies.

In addition to her artistic production, Cinto has an active career as a teacher and project coordinator. She taught expressive drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (Faap) and coordinated the study group of Ateliê Fidalga in São Paulo in partnership with artist Albano Afonso.

Cinto has also participated in several international art residencies, including the Cité des Arts in Paris and the Civitella Foundation in Italy. In 2017, she created the installation "Library of Love" at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) in Cincinnati, United States, which brought together around 200 book-objects from different artists reflecting on love.

Her works address philosophical and visual questions, often inspired by Zen aesthetics and philosophy, and are known for their delicacy and precision. Sandra Cinto continues to be an influential figure in the contemporary art scene, creating works that challenge and inspire viewers to reconsider their environment and relationships.
