Felipe Diniz Sanguin is a visual artist graduated from Universidade Belas Artes de São Paulo. He lives and works in Santo André. Throughout his career, he has participated in several group exhibitions and art salons, most notably the 46º Salão de Arte Contemporânea Luiz Sacilotto, where he received the acquisition award for the work “Cidade Linda”. In 2022, he won the Dasartes award, with a publication about his production in Revista Dasartes (edition no. 116 | Year 13 | 2022). In 2023, he was awarded at the 14º Salão dos Artistas sem Galeria. Over the years, his work has developed through the tension between public and private spheres, making use of appropriation — not only of images, but also of spaces, discourses, signs, and contexts — to generate possible reflections and contemporary socio-political-cultural critiques, with emphasis on issues such as sexuality, masculinity, and mental health.
