Vinícius S.A.

Born in Salvador, 1983 | Lives and works in Salvador, Bahia

He studied at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Bahia.
In 2005, he participated in his first exhibition with the installation Lágrimas de São Pedro - Acalento ao Sertão Nordestino and was honoured with a Special Mention in the Regional Salon of Visual Arts of Bahia, at the Feira de Santana. In 2006, he participated in collective exhibitions at the Regional Visual Arts Salon of Bahia and the VIII Recôncavo Biennial, with the installations "Um Minuto e Meio" and "O Pulso da Bienal", awarded on both occasions.

In December 2008 he is awarded with a residence in The Hague, Netherlands, for participating in the installation "Optical Object # 02" at the 15th Salon of Bahia. Also in 2008 and 2009 he exhibited individually at Caixa Cultural de Salvador and Brasília. He was invited to participate in the book "30 Contemporaiens Brasileiros" by the critic Enock Sacramento and also participates in the publication "50 years of Art in Bahia" by the critic Matilde Matos.
