Sérgio Rodrigues (Rio de Janeiro, 1927 - Rio de Janeiro, 2014) was a renowned furniture designer whose career peaked in the 1950s and 1960s. Working in accordance with Brazilian modernism, Rodrigues brought a unique Brazilian identity to his projects. He incorporated traditional elements such as leather, cane, and wood, celebrating Brazilian and indigenous culture in his designs.

Sérgio Rodrigues is widely recognized for creating furniture that not only meets functional needs but also celebrates Brazil's cultural heritage. His pieces are characterized by the combination of modern design with artisanal materials and techniques, resulting in furniture that is both contemporary and rooted in Brazilian traditions.
