Raphaela Melsohn

Raphaela Melsohn is a visual artist with a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from Columbia University (2022) and a Bachelor’s degree from FAAP (2016). Her solo exhibitions include Cortando linha se faz espaço (LABOR, 2024), Uma casa feita de chão (Marli Matsumoto, 2023), and Vestir armadilha (casamata, 2016). Melsohn has also participated in group exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, such as Nada acontece duas vezes (CAPC, 2025), After Eden (RGR, 2024), and Antes e Agora, Longe e Aqui Dentro (Oscar Niemeyer Museum, 2024). She has completed residencies at institutions including SURO (Mexico), AZ West (USA), and Pivô (Brazil). In 2022, she developed a project at Socrates Sculpture Park (New York) in dialogue with Hélio Oiticica’s Subterranean Project.
