Luiz Felkl
Luiz Antonio Fontoura Felkl (Porto Alegre, 1952) is a visual artist with a degree in Visual Arts from the Instituto de Artes at UFRGS. His practice navigates between painting and sculpture, with a sustained investigation into formal syntax and the relationship between body, material and spatial perception. Active since the 1980s, he has maintained a consistent presence in institutional contexts in southern Brazil, with solo exhibitions in major museums and galleries, and his work is held in significant public collections such as MACRS, MARGS and MASC.
