Lilian Camelli

Lilian Camelli, born in Ypacaraí, Paraguay, in 1958, has lived in São Paulo for 30 years. Since 2009, she has dedicated herself to figurative painting on canvas, using both acrylic and oil paints. She has participated in painting courses at the Accademia d’Arte in Florence, Italy, and the Taller del Prado in Madrid, Spain. Since 2011, she has been part of the study group "Painting: Practice and Reflection," led by artist Paulo Pasta at the Tomie Ohtake Institute. She currently participates in group painting guidance with Rodrigo Bivar.

Her work draws from photography and memory, exploring themes such as her childhood, the interiors of her family’s homes, and the feminine experience in her native Paraguay.
