Jorge Mayet

Jorge Mayet (Havana, Cuba, 1962) is a visual artist with a background in painting, holding a bachelor's degree (1993) and a master's degree (1995) from the National Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro in Havana, Cuba. He currently divides his time between Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and Brazil. His work is deeply influenced by memories of the landscapes of his homeland, blending realism and poetic imagination across various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and installations.
