Élon Brasil

Élon Brasil

Élon Brasil, a descendant of a rich cultural mix including Italian and Portuguese from his grandfather and Afro-Indigenous from his mother, was born and raised on Jurujuba beach. At six years old, he began drawing with crayons, and by twelve, after moving to São Paulo in 1968, he won his first gold medal at the II PINARTE in Pinheiros. In 1970, he collaborated with renowned artists such as Aldemir Martins, Clóvis Graciano, and Carlos Scliar to illustrate the book "Cantando os Gols" by Tito Battine.

Élon's work spans both figurative and abstract styles, distinguished by his vibrant portrayals of Indigenous, Black, and mixed-race figures, rich in texture and color. His art aims not only to celebrate but also to preserve Brazilian culture and his own ancestral roots.

After spending six months in Switzerland, Élon had the opportunity to exhibit his work on several occasions, gaining international recognition. This experience broadened his visibility, particularly among European collectors, solidifying his career as a world-renowned artist.
