Dolly Moreno

Dolly Moreno was born in Alexandria, Egypt, to a father of Greek origin. She studied at the University of Fine Arts in Cairo and at L'Atelier in Alexandria. After the Suez Canal conflict, she moved with her family to France in 1956, where she attended Fine Arts courses in Montmartre. Later, she moved to the United States, where she lived for eight years and attended courses at Queens College in New York. In Brazil, she studied visual arts at the Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado in São Paulo, where she took sculpture classes with Nicolas Vlavianos.

Moreno has participated in numerous collective and individual exhibitions, both in Brazil and abroad. Among her individual exhibitions, notable ones include presentations at Gloria Luria Gallery, Miami; Gallerie Jean Claude Bellier, Paris; and Selecte Artist Gallery, New York. Her works are part of private collections and museums in France, the United States, and Brazil, including the Outdoor Sculpture Museum in the gardens of the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo.
