Four years later, he continued his studies at the Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro with Ivan Serpa, a period during which he began integrating geometric forms into his work. In his 20s, Dolino worked as an employee at Banco do Brasil in Rio de Janeiro. Between 1973 and 1984, he lived in various Latin American countries, including Mexico and Argentina.

In 1984, he moved to the Ivory Coast, returning to Brazil in 1987 and settling in Rio de Janeiro. In São Paulo, he was responsible for creating the "Loco por ti" mural for the Palácio dos Bandeirantes and, in 1989, for the cover design and graphic project of the book "A Lição do Amigo" by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, published by Editora Record. The following year, Editora Salamandra in Rio de Janeiro released a book about his work titled "Dolino." He had a solo exhibition at the Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro in 1997 and published the book "Allegro Affettuoso – Memories" in 2000. That same year, he held a solo exhibition at the Museo de la Revolución in Havana.
