Alberto Caetano Dias Rodrigues, born in Feira de Santana, Bahia in 1959, is a multifaceted visual artist. He graduated in Vernacular Languages from the Catholic University of Salvador between 1985 and 1987, beginning his artistic career by engaging with the Interferências Group, which was dedicated to creating murals in public spaces in Salvador.

In 1988, he stood out with the performance "Hormônios de uma Cidade" at the ACBEU Theatre and a mural painting at Praça de Oxum/Terreiro Casa Branca. Since 1995, Caetano Dias has been sharing his experience and knowledge through painting courses at the Museum of Modern Art of Bahia (MAM/BA).

His artistic output is diverse, encompassing video, painting, three-dimensional works, multimedia installations, and digital photography. Caetano Dias is known for his experimental approach and for using multiple platforms to express his artistic ideas.
