Arnaldo Augusto Nora Antunes Filho is a Brazilian composer, poet, singer, performer and visual artist born in 1960. At 15, he joins Colégio Equipe, a school in São Paulo known to emphasize humanities and the formation of artists. There he meets Paulo Miklos and begins to write poetry with him.

In 1978, he begins studying literature and philosophy at the University of São Paulo. In the early 1980’s, alongside Miklos and artists José Roberto Aguilar and Go, Antunes joins the musical theater group Aguilar e Banda Performática, with whom he records an album with. In 1982, Antunes and his old classmates formed a band Titãs do Lê-Lê, later renamed Os Titãs. The group drops its first album in 1984, and is received with huge success. The group makes Antunes a national celebrity. Still in the 1980’s, he edits literary magazines, participates in calligraphy shows and publishes his first book of poetry.

In 1992, he leaves Os Titãs but continues to write music with the group.
