Paula Clerman

Born in São Paulo, 1969. Currently lives and Works in São Paulo.

Through her art, Paula seeks to reveal identity and historical aspects that have been incorporated by the day to daylife, but still carry specific points of view and social realities to be discussed.
She has been contemplated by the Brazilian program Programa Nova Fotografia from MIS – Museu da Imagem e do Som (Museum of Image and Sound), and had her first individual exhibition called “American Beauty” in 2016. Paula was the winner of the 4th International Exhibition of Photography Photo Emotion, in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 2015.
Graduated in Business Administration at FAAP (Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado), she worked in fashion for 25 years, and has been dedicated to photography since 2007, seeking to perfect her artistic work through practice and studying under photographers Armando Prado, Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Claudio Edinger and Gal Oppido.
