His career was marked by a retrospective exhibition in 1989, celebrating 30 years of work, titled "Pintura Sempre," which traveled through São Paulo, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, and Belo Horizonte. The following year, he created a series of paintings in tribute to the centennial of the death of Vincent van Gogh, displayed in various galleries and museums in Brazil and abroad.

Several books have been published about his work, including "Bracher" by Olívio Tavares de Araújo published by Métron in 1989, and "Bracher: From Gold to Steel" by Salamandra in 1992.
