Is a renowned Brazilian poet, musician, and visual artist, known for integrating various forms of artistic expression into his work. Born in 1967, Cabelo transforms his experiences and observations into a variety of mediums, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, songs, performances, videos, and installations, all conceived as extensions of his poetry.

Throughout his career, Cabelo has participated in significant international exhibitions and biennials highlighting his commitment to contemporary art. Among these, his participation in the X Documenta in Kassel and the 26th and 33rd São Paulo Biennials stand out. Additionally, his work has been exhibited at the 7th Mercosul Biennial and in significant exhibitions such as "Lines from Brasil" at the Whitechapel Art Gallery in London, "Mianmar Mirroir – Project Room" at Arco Madrid, and "Côte à Côte, contemporary art from Brazil" at the capcMusée d'art contemporain in Bordeaux, France.

Through his multiple creative facets, Cabelo relentlessly seeks to explore and question the boundaries between different forms of art, always aiming to provoke reflection and dialogue through his works.
