A Brazilian sculptor born in Venâncio Aires, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1940, is a notable craftsman in marble, bronze, and wood. He began his drawing studies between 1959 and 1964, under the tutelage of Vasco Prado and Zorávia Bettiol. Batti started exhibiting his work in 1962 and held his first solo exhibition at the studio of his mentors.

In 1977, his works were displayed at the Centro de Estudos Brasileños in Buenos Aires, and in 1978, at the now-defunct Art Gallery of the Clube do Comércio in Porto Alegre, the year he created the Tibicuera trophy. The sculptor is also known for working with basalt, and the human figure is a recurring theme in his work.

Batti has a significant presence in both national and international group exhibitions and was highlighted by writer Armindo Trevisan in the book "Contemporary Sculptors of Rio Grande do Sul". He has been regularly holding exhibitions in Porto Alegre for over twenty years. In 1994, a book dedicated to his work was released, with text by journalist Carlos Urbim. Currently, he lives in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, where he maintains his studio.
