From Toys to Kinetic Art

Agnaldo Pinho, born in Betim-MG, showed an early penchant for the arts, engaging in drawing, painting, and even making his own toys. This passion for creation led him to the School of Fine Arts at UFMG, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, focusing on drawing. During his academic years, he interned with Grupo Giramundo, sparking his interest in the world of puppets - a love that dates back to his childhood, influenced by shows like Thunderbirds and interactions with Manoel do Bonecos, a local craftsman.

Following this enriching experience, Agnaldo founded Traquitana Brinquedos, a store specializing in handmade and educational toys, becoming a landmark in Belo Horizonte. Later, he established OPA! Scenography, dedicated to scenic setups for renowned exhibitions.

Agnaldo's journey led him to create BONECARIA.COM, a studio focused on the creation and commercialization of puppets for various purposes, solidifying his reputation in the artistic market. Currently, he dedicates himself to the study and construction of Automata, merging science and art in his works, marking a new chapter in his creative trajectory.
